Birthday Gathering

We got together at the Bennett's tonight for my birthday and got some good family pictures - well, at least Natalie was cute in them. The rest of us have had better pictures taken of us!

Could she BE any more cute?!

As with many of the other pictures and videos on the blog...I just couldn't resist posting these! I know how much our out-of-town family and friends appreciate videos.

Soon and very soon...

I will be getting a camera! I have been borrowing one, but it will be nice to have my own and once I do I PROMISE to start taking more pictures and videos to post on the blog! I'm hoping to have the new camera in the next couple of weeks, but I make no guarantees!

Videos

Here are some videos that I just got and that I forgot I had:

New Clothes!

Natalie wanted to model some of the new clothes she got the past couple of weeks. Most of them are still a little big, but I'm sure she'll grow into them!

Speedy Gonzalez aka The Bouncing Baby (bouncy, bouncy!)

Natalie LOVES her "Johnny Jump-up" she got a couple months ago. When we first got it, she would pretty much just sit in it, but now that her feet reach better, she moves a lot more. That's why the pictures are so blurry. I've been trying to get a video too, but it's not working - I'll keep trying!

Five months and solid food

Five months old

A little bit unsure of what Adam is giving her to eat
She really enjoyed being able to get messy!
Isn't she cute?

Solid Food (minus the pictures)

I'm such a bad blogger mom (the newest version of a soccer mom?)  Anyway, I broke our camera!  I was taking pictures of Natalie and between the two of us we knocked the camera out of my hands onto the hardwood floor and now it won't work!  I am borrowing a camera right now and plan on posting some pictures soon, but words will have to do for right now.

On Tuesday night, Natalie had her first solid food - oatmeal cereal!  It was quite the (messy) experience.  She really seemed to like it at first, but then she got frustrated after a while because it was taking so long.

I will hopefully get some pictures of her eating posted in the next few days along with her 5 month picture (can you believe it?).

"I've got that...overwhelmed feeling"

In order to ease the sense of drowning in baby clothes, toys, and micsellaneous other objects, I took this morning as a Mental Health day and Natalie went to spend the morning with Grandpa and Grandma Bennett. I was hopeing to have the whole house cleaned, but SURPRISE it took a lot longer than I thought and I only ended getting half of it done. However, the half that is clean looks really good!

Here are a few pictures Grandpa and Grandma took at their house:

And here's picture I took the other day. I just thought it was cute.

A couple cute pictures

Natalie had her first bus ride on Labor Day on our trip to the State Fair. As you can see in this picture, she wasn't exactly sure what to think at first, but...
She kind of got the hang of it the longer we were on the bus. We don't have a picture of it, but she had a great time on the ride back.
Here's Natalie showing off the flexibility skills she got from Adam. Hopefully she will get his gracefulness, too and not mine!

A New School Year

I apologize to all of you who have been waiting and wondering why there haven't been any new posts in the last couple of weeks.  I started back to work full-time last Tuesday and haven't yet made the time to update the blog with new pictures of Natalie.

The first week back was really good, and yet there were also moments of frustration and being overwhelmed (not only for me but for all three of us!).  Thank you to those of you who gave us advice and/or just listened to a crazy mom rant about having to go back to work!

Please stay tuned - I am planning on adding pictures to the blog soon!
